Behind the Lens: Minnie After Hours

Friday evening I went into downtown MPLS to photograph the skyline and Stone Arch Bridge in the evening. This is something I've been wanting to do for a little while and had the opportunity to go with the Hutchinson Photography Club. We met up with a couple members of the Crosstown Camera Club from MPLS. They showed us all the good places in St. Anthony Falls.

Definitely will be going back soon. It's so beautiful. Being in that area is so invigorating. I absolutely love it.

A Baseball Weekend

This past weekend was a baseball weekend. Started with a trip to a St. Paul Saints game Friday night. Then ran my first 5k on Sunday, the Fifteen's 5k. It was organized by relief pitcher, Glen Perkins, of the Minnesota Twins. Got to meet Joe Mauer and the Twins bullpen afterwards. Took some photos and got some autographs. After the 5k we headed to the ballgame against the Tampa Bay Rays. Even though we lost, it was a grand ol' time.

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend than that.

Behind the Lens: Nora & Sophie

Finally hacking away at some more photos from my adventure with the Hutch Photography Club to Hot Sam's Antiques a few weeks ago. These two adorable gals are Nora and Sophie.

Behind the Lens: Andrea Pt. 4

Finally finished up with the pictures of Andrea! I'm sure a week or two from now I'll be going back through them wondering how I missed a few.

Onto the rest of the photos!

Behind the Lens: Andrea Pt. 3

Photo overload. Still working on sorting, editing, and posting. I have over 250 photos. Ridiculous. Trying to get as many finished up before the Photo Club meeting on Tuesday. So hang in there.

I have been inspired to find a huge lot now, find a bunch of awesome stuff then just spend my days planning, styling, and photographing.

Behind the Lens: Andrea Pt. 2

Some more photos from yesterday's workshop. The circus set up was my absolute favorite area. There was a lot of awesome stuff back there that I didn't get the chance to look at and explore. But the potential was great. Definitely going to have to think of some other crazy stuff to do in that area.
